Fresh and New in Double Blue

It’s been on Sturt’s agenda for more than four decades but now the Unley redevelopment has finally become reality.

Stage 1 of the Double Blues’ stunning new facility underneath the Jack Oatey Stand is now being used by players, coaches and support staff at Peter Motley Oval.

Tune in to SANFL TV for a guided tour from Sturt’s Football Manager Chris Trapp, who walks viewers through each section of the impressive renovation.

New Sturt coach Nathan Grima also declares it is a privilege to assume the mantle from premiership mentor Marty Mattner with such a fine resource he and his players to work in.

The old Double Blues changerooms underneath Harry J McKay Stand are also being transformed into three different outlets for their Women’s teams and also to allow the club to host double headers with ease at Oxford Terrace.

Plans for Stage 2 of the revamp include a new function room at the top of the Jack Oatey Stand, overlooking the Peter Motley Oval.
