A genuine excitement machine, Hosie was the Statewide Super League’s leading goalkicker when he was snapped up by North Melbourne in the 2019 AFL Midseason Draft. Now the athletic 24-year-old is set to reignite the dynamic trio he formed with fellow Tigers Liam McBean and Luke Reynolds. Measuring in at 180cm and 78kg, Hosie is equally adept at scooping the ball up at ground level as he is at taking a contender for Mark of the Year. Should provide plenty of highlights at ACH Group Stadium this year.
After playing five League games last year, midfielder Reid Kuller looms as a genuine Powerade Breakthrough candidate this year. The smooth-moving left-footer looks in very good shape and is ready to take the long-term mantle in the middle from fellow southpaw Matthew Snook. At just 19, the West Gambier product is ready to make his mark with his natural ball-winning and neat skills.
Lewis Rayson (182cm and 69kg) –Endured an injury-interrupted 2020 with lower back problems> A small-medium running defender who likes to set up offence from the back third of the oval. Elite combination of speed and endurance. Working on improving his body work when defending an opponent.
Jarrad Parish (191cm and 91kg) –Enjoyed a very consistent 2020 for Glenelg and Sacred Heart playing as a medium-tall key defender. Is very good in one-on-one situations against taller opponents using his body strength to advantage. Aiming to take more intercept marks in the back half.
Nasiah Wanganeen (187cm and 70kg) –Very naturally talented player who is dangerous when he has the ball in his possession. Has good evasive skills matched with elite speed, ensuring he hurts the opposition when he gets it. Working on improving his consistency of performance and tackling skills.
Cooper Beecken (190cm and 75kg) –Lightly built medium-sized defender who can play on both tall and small forwards. He has a high footy IQ and above average skill set. Very good in the air and at ground level. Working on his one-on-one contested possession impact and building body strength.
Hugh Stagg (179cm and 80kg) –Strong and powerful small/medium forward who can also run up into the midfield when needed. Likes to generate overlap when playing as a midfielder. Very good one-on-one ahead of the ball both when ball is in the air and on the ground. Developing his focus on decision-making and kicking.
Oscar Adams (197cm and 80kg) –Developing tall defender who is still living at home in the south-east while completing Year 12. Has really good mobility and athleticism for someone standing 195cm. Judges the flight of the ball very well when reading the oppositions offense. Working on his body strength and physicality.
