Cameron Craig wins Skilled Careers Mark of the Year

North Adelaide’s Cameron Craig has defied the odds after ensuring a defender would win 2021 Skilled Careers Mark of the Year.

The high-flying Rooster is a regular on SANFL’s highlight reels and this was no exception in Round 14 this season when he soared above the pack on the outer wing at Prospect.

Despite the blustery conditions, Craig managed to get some serious hang time while holding on to his memorable overhead mark, much to the delight of the North faithful.

The 26-year-old backman was one of five players in contention for the award, with Norwood veteran Paul Puopolo having two of his huge grabs shortlisted.

But ultimately the fans voted for Craig’s screamer ahead Puopolo’s two efforts, fellow Redleg Cole Gerloff and South Adelaide pair Joey Haines and Jake Tarca.
