Phoenix Hargrave (South)
Runner-up to teammate Benny Barrett in the inaugural U16 Best-and-Fairest award, Hargrave knows how to find the ball while also using it creatively.

The Panthers’ prime midfielder collected 19 disposals, five clearances, six tackles and six inside 50s in the Second Semi-Final and had two opportunities to put his side in front late in the final term.

Expect Hargrave to have a steely resolve against the Eagles and with fellow midfielders Barrett and Sid Draper by his side, he will have less attention from the opposition to deal with.

Tyler Welsh (Eagles)

The son of former North Melbourne and Adelaide forward Scott Welsh was a genuine game-breaker with seven goals in the Eagles’ First Semi-Final win.

A powerful force in the air, Welsh hauled in 11 marks against the Roosters, seven of which were contested.

Kicking 33 goals for the season, the Torrens University SA U16 spearhead will need to be quelled to ensure the Panthers are handed another opportunity against Glenelg in the Grand Final.
