A SANFL matchday experience isn’t the same without your copy of the Football Budget – and this year it’s back bigger and better.
“We’re thrilled to have the iconic Footy Budget back with four extra pages for season 2023, and we’ve made the most of it with some essential reading,” says Football Budget Editor Peter Cornwall.
“And by popular demand, the Budget poster makes a return this season, first-up saluting Norwood’s 2022 premiership team.”
In the Round 1 edition, prolific SA football writer Steve Barrett answers the burning questions for what’s shaping as an ultra-competitive Hostplus SANFL League season.
There is also the coming and going of players listed for all 10 clubs.
In the first month of the season, SANFL’s three new senior coaches will be profiled, starting this week with Port Adelaide boss Tyson Goldsack.
This edition also features a profile on former Adelaide Striker and dual North Adelaide Hostplus SANFL Women’s premiership star Katelyn Pope.
There also will be a dedicated historical feature every week. In Round 1, The Budget pays tribute to Magarey Medallist Barrie Barbary, who died in February, aged 84.
There’s all the team lists and stats for the SANFL Men’s League, Reserves and SANFLW.
And the Round 1 Torrens University SANFL U18 match wraps.
The Football Budget on sale at the new price of $5 at all SANFL venues – and for the first time, is available as a digital magazine each week.
