2019 SANFL Budget – Round 1

The SANFL Budget is back for the 2019 Statewide Super League Season, complete with a fresh look and plenty of engaging content throughout the season.

To kick things off for Round 1, SANFL Budget Writer Steve Barrett answers the Burning Questions for 2019 while also profiling dual Magarey Medallist Mitch Grigg.

There’s a full wrap of the first half of the SANFL Women’s competition, as well as SANFL Budget Editor Peter Cornwall’s must-see Match Previews.

And of course, the SANFL Budget mainstays of the Team Lists and Player Posters will be in all editions.

Looking ahead, as it’s the last year of the decade, the SANFL Budget will name its best side for your club for the 2010s.

And later in the year, it will have a punt at the greatest SANFL line-up – made up of the best players at all clubs – of the 1960s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, 2000s and 2010s.

At the end of the minor round, SANFL Budget will name its Top 50 SANFL players of the year. It will also pay tribute to the Iron Men of the league, SANFL’s biggest kickers, greatest handballers and best leaders.
