North Adelaide midfielder Tom Schwarz has accepted a one-match ban with an early guilty plea for engaging in rough conduct with Eagles defender Joseph Sinor at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval on Sunday.

Norwood midfielder Ed Smart has accepted a $200 fine and reprimand with an early guilty plea for striking Glenelg’s Finn Betterman at The Parade on Friday night.

Norwood utility Cam Shenton has accepted a $200 fine and reprimand with an early guilty plea for striking Glenelg’s Lachlan Hosie at The Parade on Friday night.

Glenelg midfielder Luke Partington has accepted a $200 fine and reprimand for making forceful front-on contact with Norwood’s Mitch Grigg at The Parade on Friday night.

ROUND 1 POWERADE BREAKTHROUGH PLAYER NOMINEES

James Rowe (Eagles) – In just his seventh league match, the 19-year-old played an influential role in his team’s win. The son of Norwood premiership rover Stephen Rowe, James Rowe collected 18 disposals and six marks while kicking 3 goals playing across half-forward.

Will Gould (Glenelg) – Making his Statewide Super League debut, Gould played a strong game on the last line of defence for the Tigers. Entrusted with the kick-ins, Gould had 24 disposals, 11 rebound 50s and seven contested possessions.

Hamish Latchford (Adelaide) – From Prince Alfred Old Collegians, the 21-year-old played a solid role for the Crows in his Statewide Super League debut. Finishing with 14 disposals, five marks and four tackles, Latchford also kicked an impressive long-range goal from the 50m arc.

ROUND 6 SANFL WOMEN’S POWERADE BREAKTHROUGH PLAYER

The Round 6 SANFL Women’s Powerade Breakthrough Player is South Adelaide’s Indy Tahau. Originally from Happy Valley FC, the creative forward collected 16 disposals and took seven marks in the Panthers’ win against Central.

 

 

ROUND 1 TORRENS UNI CUP MVP NOMINEE

This week’s Torrens Uni MVP nominee is South Adelaide’s Beau McCreery. Originally from Cove FC,  the exciting Panthers forward booted six goals while also laying a staggering 11 tackles in his team’s massive win against Central.
