Based in the inner southern suburb of Unley, the Double Blues have won 15 premierships, including a golden run of five in succession between 1966 and 1970. Seven-time premiership Jack Oatey heads the list of Sturt greats which also includes Australian Football Hall of Fame inductees Rick Davies and Paul Bagshaw. Sturt’s development zone includes the inner southern and eastern suburbs, the Adelaide Hills and Murray Bridge region.
