In the Boys U17.5 Division One League, PHOS Camden finally achieved the grand final win it had been searching for, after numerous years of heartbreak.
In what could be seen as an upset, the Phantoms came back to defeat Port Districts after trailing at half-time, eventually winning the premiership with a final score of 47 to 33.
PHOS Camden’s James Reuther was judged best afield after booting three goals for the match.
In the Girls U17.5 Division One League, Henley capped off its perfect season with a huge 58-point win over Mitcham Hawks, recording an ominous final score of 74 to 16.
Henley, coached by dual Adelaide Crows premiership player Matthew Robran, remained undefeated all season.
Promising young gun, Shineah Goody, who has also been playing for the Woodville-West Torrens SANFLW team, was awarded the best on ground medal after Henley’s dominant display.
