SANFL, together with the AFL, provides extensive support and development for footy coaches at all levels.
Coach.AFL provides all coaches across the country with a suite of education, training and resources. This is through a compulsory annual accreditation model linked to coach accreditation, coaches will need to be a CoachAFL member to have a valid coaching accreditation, no matter of their accreditation level.
The minimum coach accreditation level is an online entry level ‘Foundation Coach’ accreditation (replaced the previous level 1), which can be accessed below
The Level 2 coach accreditation consists of a 1 day face-to-face and a post course self-reflection task that is to be completed during the season you are coaching. It is designed for coaches who have coaching roles in either youth or senior age groups during the year of completing the course.
Registrations for Level 2 Coaching Courses in South Australia are now open with the SANFL confirming details of courses for coaches coaching a youth (U12-U18) or senior team.
