Sturt’s Hannah Prenzler was quick to praise two of her Double Blue family members in helping her reach 50 Hostplus SANFLW League games on Sunday.

As the reliable defender prepares to play against North Adelaide in the Second Semi-Final, she hailed cousin Steven Slimming and her brother Noah for the support they have provided en route to her magical milestone.

Speaking on SANFL Radio, the 19-year-old said Sturt premiership wingman Slimming regularly watched her games while also calling to provide advice and support.

Younger sibling Noah, a member of Sturt’s U18 squad, played a key role in teaching Prenzler how to produce a checkside kick, which ended up sailing through for her first SANFLW goal.

Originally from the Mitcham Football Club, Prenzler has thrived in being a member of Sturt’s leadership group for the past three seasons despite still being a teenager.

Studying nursing at University, the Concordia College graduate also has an interest in coaching after assisting with Sturt’s U16 girls team last season.
