SANFL has finalised Rounds 17 to 19 of the Hostplus SANFL League, with the final weekend of the minor round to feature at least four games on Saturday, August 20.
Round 19 will see West Adelaide host Norwood at Hisense Stadium; Sturt tackle North Adelaide at Wigan Oval (the Channel 7 broadcast game of the round); South Adelaide confront the Eagles at Flinders University Stadium; and Glenelg face off against Central District at ACH Group Stadium – all in the Saturday afternoon timeslot.
Port Adelaide will host Adelaide in the second SANFL Showdown of the season at Adelaide Oval in the final minor round, with a day and time to be locked in once the AFL fixture has been finalised for that weekend.
In Round 17, Sturt’s clash against Port Adelaide at Wigan Oval has now been locked in for Saturday, August 6 at 2:10pm. The Central District clash against Norwood at X Convenience Oval on Saturday, August 6 is confirmed as the Channel 7 broadcast game, with the match start time brought forward to 1:35pm.
Round 18 also is finalised, with Central District to play Adelaide under lights at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, August 13 at 5:00pm – following the AFL match between Adelaide and North Melbourne. South Adelaide is confirmed to host Port Adelaide at Flinders University Stadium on Sunday, August 14 at 1:35pm in what will be the Channel 7 broadcast game of the round.
SANFL also wishes to advise that Port Adelaide’s Round 15 home game against West Adelaide this weekend, already relocated to Hisense Stadium due to renovations at Alberton Oval, has been rescheduled and will now be played at Hisense Stadium on Saturday, July 16 at 2:10pm. Port Adelaide’s only other relocated home game, versus Central District in Round 16, remains unchanged and will be played under lights at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval on Saturday night, July 23.
