The 2020 Statewide Super League season will kick off under lights with three blockbuster Friday night matches scheduled for April 3.
With the complete 2020 Statewide Super League fixture to be released next Monday, SANFL can reveal Round 1 will include a highly-anticipated clash between reigning premier Glenelg and fierce-rival Sturt at ACH Group Stadium.
Norwood will host North Adelaide in a battle of the 2018 Grand Finalists at The Parade while West Adelaide will tackle Port Adelaide at the newly-named Hisense Stadium at Richmond.
All three Friday night matches will begin at 7.40pm.
On Saturday April 4, new SANFL coaches Jade Sheedy (Eagles) and Jeff Andrews (Central) will make their Statewide Super League debuts when their teams collide at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.
South Adelaide will roll out its star recruits in Matthew Broadbent, Keegan Brooksby and James Rose against Adelaide at Flinders University Stadium.
