A four-goal final term was enough for Glenelg to defeat West Adelaide by 20 points in Round 10 of the U18 Torrens University Cup at Hisense Stadium.

Trailing by three points at the final change, the Bays made the Bloods pay for their inaccuracy by booting 4.3 to 0.4 after three-quarter time.

Noah Sims (22 disposals, one goal), Ethan Murdock (24 disposals, two goals) and Will Trevena (24 disposals) played integral roles for the Tigers as Jayden Davis booted four goals.

The Bloods, who kicked 8.18 for the match, listed Oscar Talbot (19 disposals), Jameson Whitbourne (24 disposals, nine tackles, one goal) and Kade Hilton (19 disposals, one goal) as their better performers.

South Adelaide’s staggering inaccuracy in front of goal nearly cost it a 19-point win against Woodville-West Torrens at Flinders University Stadium. 

Laden with 2.12 at the final change, the Panthers kicked another 3.5 in the fourth quarter, ensuring its 5.17 (47) would be enough to claim victory.

Speedy South forward Jack Delean found plenty of the ball further up the field with 21 disposals while teammates Noah Howes and Benny Barrett were other notable contributors.

Jedd Thomson was everywhere for the Eagles with his 35 disposals, eight clearances and six tackles while Bailey Arthur (27 disposals) and Oscar Pearce (19 disposals) were also commended.

North Adelaide’s sensational second-half blitz propelled it to a 25-point triumph against Norwood at The Parade.

Trailing by a goal with just two majors on the board at half-time, the Roosters suddenly clicked into gear to kick an impressive 9.5 to the Redlegs’ 4.4 amid the challenging conditions.

Goal-kicking North midfielders Angus Tully (24 disposals, two goals) and Oliver Dignan (21 disposals, three goals) had a massive say in the comeback.

At the top of the Redlegs’ stats sheet was Josh Bradford with 22 possessions and nine clearances while Thomas Lane had 16 disposals with his three goals.

A second-half shutdown allowed Sturt to coast to a percentage-boosting 90-point win against Central District at X Convenience Oval.

Building a solid 28-point lead by half-time, the Double Blues’ stingy defence didn’t concede a Bulldogs major from the 21st minute of the second term until the final siren.

At the other end, Sturt’s forwards were piling on the scoreboard pressure as Pat Tidemann (four goals, 28 disposals), George Pope (24 disposals) and Declan Gladigau led the charge.

Central’s Austin McDonald couldn’t have done more to stem the tide, racking up 31 disposals, 13 clearances and five tackles.
