North Adelaide secured an important 43-point win over West Adelaide at Prospect Oval to stay in touch with the Torrens University SANFL U16s top-four.
The Roosters led at each change and the result never looked in doubt for the home side.
North on-baller Charlie Dickeson was clearly best-on-ground having accumulated 35 disposals, including 33 kicks, and nine clearances.
Lachlan Faulkhead kicked four goals, Jay Saunders managed three while Ben Francou and Memphis Webb each booted two.
Jaylen Sochacki flew the flag for the Bloods with 29 disposals and a goal, as Zanen Syrokos kicked three majors.
Glenelg returned to the winners list by defeating Central District by 77 points at X Convenience
Oval.
Despite starting the year well, the Bays had previously lost three in a row before the mid-season break.
However Glenelg produced a dominant display, piling on the goals as the likes of Isaiah Clothier (35 disposals) and Timothy Alver (32 disposals) ran riot.
The Bays had nine goalkickers, with Harvey Raidis booting four, Reuben Brookes adding three and Ned McCarthy bobbing up with two.
Midfielder Hayden Henke was the Bulldogs’ most prolific ball-winner in the loss with 21 possessions.
Sturt extended their lead atop the premiership ladder with a 52-point win over Norwood at The Parade.
The Double Blues traveled to Woods Street refreshed and full of confidence given their strong form prior to the break.
Sturt kicked five unanswered goals in the first quarter to lay the foundation for the win, never giving up the lead.
It was a case of all-played well for Sturt, but Gill Wakelin booted five goals and Harry and Sam White laid a combined 20 tackles.
Norwood’s Jack Hayter couldn’t be stopped, however, amassing 39 disposals, six marks and 10 clearances in a standout individual performance.
South Adelaide defeated Woodville-West Torrens by 10 points in a low-scoring affair at Flinders University Stadium.
Both sides managed the same amount of scoring shots, but the Panthers took their chances and came away with the premiership points.
Woodville-West Torrens took slight leads into quarter and half-time, but two final-term goals to South’s Jacob McGarry proved the difference.
The consistent Cain Florance was South’s leading ball-winner with 24 disposals and teammates Thomas Simpson and Patrick Carman also performed well.
Jamie Russell Swanson (24 disposals and seven tackles) and James McGorman (23 disposals and nine marks) were the Eagles top ball winners, with Zac Holdsworth booting two goals.
