South Australia has made just one change for its second match of the NAB U18 Girls National Championships against Victoria Country at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
North Adelaide’s Timeka Cox will have an opportunity to don the cherished red State guernsey in the curtain-raiser to the Adelaide v Richmond AFL clash.
Named to start on the interchange bench, Cox will replace Sturt’s Mille McCarthy, who has been placed in the Covid Health and Safety protocols.
The Croweaters will be looking to repeat their outstanding performance in Game 1, when it eclipsed Western Australia by 84 points at Thebarton Oval.
If SA can overcome Victoria Country on Saturday, it will be aiming for an undefeated championships run with its final contest against the Allies on Friday April 22 at Werribee.
