SANFL Intrastate Championships
SANFL’s Intrastate Championships will take place this week with the State’s most talented junior boys and girls set to don SANFL club colours.
To be held at various SANFL venues on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the Intrastate Championships will see the eight non-AFL aligned SANFL clubs competing in four divisions.
They include U14 and U16 Girls, together with U15 Boys – Metropolitan and Country Divisions.
Clubs have been split into two Pools – Glenelg, Sturt, North Adelaide and Central District in Pool A and South Adelaide, West Adelaide, Norwood and Woodville-West Torrens in Pool B.
The Intrastate Championships are an integral part of SANFL’s Development Plan, enabling SANFL clubs to observe their players perform against quality opposition to assist with the selection of players to progress into male U16 program and female club programs.
