Woodville-West Torrens rebounded from its Round 2 loss with a comprehensive 83-point win against Adelaide at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.

Boosted by the presence of former Crow Tyson Stengle, the Eagles were superb from the first bounce as they took control of the contest to lead by 38 points at half-time.

Stengle was constructive with his 21 disposals while also kicking four goals but Jack Hayes was outstanding in the ruck and around the ground to collect 33 disposals, 10 marks, six tackles and five clearances.

Another ex-Crow in Riley Knight had 34 disposals and two majors while Jimmy Toumpas and James Tsitas had 27 touches each.

Adelaide veterans Matthew Wright and Daniel Jackson tallied 21 disposals each, with the skipper Wright also scoring two goals while Tariek Newchurch showed plenty of promise with three majors and 16 possessions.

Glenelg strung together its third win in succession by defeating Central District by 34 points at X Convenience Oval.

Despite being plagued by inaccuracy in front of goal as they were last round, the Tigers made their move with four goals in the second term to establish a 28-point break at the main change.

The Double Blues missed several simple chances in front of goal to tally 12.21 in the comfortable victory against the winless Bloods.

Twin towers in attack, Josh Patullo and Daniel Fahey-Sparks, booted five goals between them while former captain Zane Kirkwood kicked two for the hosts.

Captain James Battersby had 33 disposals and eight clearances while Casey Voss continued his development nicely with 32 possessions, 11 marks and a goal.

Bloods star Kaine Stevens made a welcome return from injury to collect 25 disposals, five clearances and a goal while former Norwood backman Pat Levicki had 21 possessions and five clearances.
