Woodville-West Torrens is priming itself for an inaugural SANFLW finals berth after attracting outstanding talent to play at Oval Avenue in 2022.
Following the appointment of highly-respected coach Narelle Smith, the Eagles have landed four players with AFLW experience while another WAFLW player is also likely to don the tri-colours.
Speaking on SANFL Radio, Smith is excited to add the talented recruits while virtually retaining the entire squad from 2021 to build upon.
The strong influence of Renee Forth will now be more prominent for the Eagles as she plays for the club in a full-time capacity after departing the Crows.
Forth will be joined by utilities McKenzie Dowrick (West Coast) and Leah Kaslar (Gold Coast) while former Suns key forward Jordann Hickey will provide a focal point inside 50m for the Eagles.
Swan Districts’ Brianna Hyde, currently training with Fremantle’s AFLW squad, has also committed to Woodville-West Torrens for 2022.
Former Crow Jess Sedunary could be the Eagles’ only major personnel departure as she chases her dream with Cycling Australia.
