We have recently seen the removal of all of the COVID restrictions that impact the operations of our football clubs and leagues, including the removal of mandatory isolation periods.
While this is welcome and will allow football clubs and venues to operate more normally, COVID continues to present ongoing health risks for our community.
Clubs should use best endeavours to continue to provide a COVIDSafe environment for players, officials and spectators, and should consider continued implementation of best practice health advice.
Make sure you access reliable and accurate information from trusted sources.
Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself, the ones you love and your football community from COVID-19.
All South Australians aged 5 and over can now book a COVID-19 vaccination.
We've included some links to Health resources to help you make your booking, as well as answer any questions you may have regarding the vaccine.
Please note that while there is no mandatory vaccination policy in place to participate in any level of football in SA, SANFL strongly encourages all participants and volunteers in community football to get fully vaccinated.
As we move through our Return to Play Roadmap, previous stage protocols become redundant.
